Stone Management is currently looking for a Controller who will be counted on for their strategic thinking and leadership of the accounting department. This candidate must protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

The ideal candidate will:

More specifically the candidate will be responsible for:

· Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll.

· Creating strategic direction around compensation and benefits

· Creating and implementing processes

· Functional oversight and talent management.

· Oversees the preparation of periodic financial statements and the corporate annual report.

• Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with other management team members to establish financial goals and objectives.

· Implementing adequate controls, processes and procedures

· Assist with developing various business metrics and analysis

· Must be familiar with Sales and Use Tax

The qualified candidate will have:

· 2-year accounting degree minimum; Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 5 years or more of significant, functional accounting experience, not including data entry or administrative roles.

· Highly proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel

· Previous accounting experience in contracting or construction industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
